Hi All,
This morning I found a northern waterthrush hanging out just below the red bridge that crosses Tecolote Creek by Haskell's beach. Its been giving good views walking out onto low branches/logs downstream of the bridge.
Also of interest are a few Wilson's warblers, a yellow warbler, a warbling video, western tanagers, and a chestnut-backed chickadee. Lots of activity.
Over the past few weeks there has been a pair of belted kingfishers making a ruckus around the creek area as well which I find very entertaining.
Looks like this riperean area could be really good this fall!
