There is a Pectoral Sandpiper at the very east end of Lower Otay Lake where the mud flat and grass is given the lowered Lake level, although water is in- flowing currently. It started out on the edge right below the edge of the road but has now flown out and is feeding along the shore of the obvious peninsula of mud and grass that sticks out into the lake, along with about 10 dowichers which may well be partly juvenile short billeds and two lesser yellowlegs and about 15 Westerns and Leasts. Currently the lighting is absolutely terrible, so suggest early or late in the day.
