- Comments: "Presumably the same juvenile that has been seen here intermittently ever since I first found it at this location on 8/22. Distinctly smaller than nearby Double-crested cormorants, but with proportionately longer tail, more slender build, and smaller, thinner bill. No obvious patch of bare yellow-orange skin above the eye (as in Double-crested), and with smaller gular pouch distinctly pointing rearward at an acute angle."

- Comments: "Continuing juvenile. Entirely white egret except for dusky tips to several primaries; tarsi and toes uniformly yellow-olive; bill two-toned, with blackish distal portion, contrasting with bluish gray base to upper mandible, and pinkish gray base to lower mandible; irides strikingly whitish, outlined darker."
