Total observation time: 7 hours

Official Counter: Ken Tucker

Observers: Ken Bowman

Weather:
Sunny with a few clouds in the afternoon. The wind started from SE in the
morning, then wea highly variable in the afternoon, at one time it was WN W
then hour later was from the SSE again.

Raptor Observations:
Broadwings started right from the beginning and continued for a couple of
hours. 10-11 had kettles of hundreds. Later in the day theygot too high
to see even with binoculars. Good Eagle day. It was afternoon until we saw
something besides Broadwings. I’m sure we missed hundreds of Broadwings.
The question on days like this, where did these birds come from. No site
north of us had big numbers of Broadwings yet. One Bald Eagle and several
Redtails not counted

Non-raptor Observations:
Not much time to look around
