Subject: [sbcobirding] additional info on the presumed Alder Flycatcher
This morning, the bird was well seen and photographed by many in the reeds
to the left and the right of the mud bank near the parking lot. This
parking lot is at Los Patos Way at the north-east side of the lake. At
around 11:30 the bird went AWOL as it started to move away from the bank,
following the reeds to the west (i.e., to the right looking at the lake).
Somewhat miraculously John Sterling refound the bird by walking the trail
in the same direction.

Folks are still coming in from near and far to see this bird, so let's keep
the info flowing.

Also: Nick's Mourning Warbler is/was at Mentor Drive. Some companies at
this tech park are nervous about people walking around with binoculars and
cameras.
