Weather: Warm day 16-22C with light breezes, somewhat variable in direction, N to ESE, but typically easterly. No clouds to speak of, visibility good but hazy at start that eventually cleared.
Raptor Observations: Not many migrants, 9, but at least some variety. TVs/BVs active throughout, bald eagles very active in PM with as many as four adults in view at one time. Local red-tailed activity picked up in PM, also. Of interest were a couple of sharp-shinned hawks throughout the day that we were waiting to see them pass thru only to see them stoop dive into the trees and not reappear.
Non-raptor Observations: Common raven often in company of eagles. A trio of Barn Swallow in AM, chimney swift movement. Five RT Hummingbirds, 2 Monarch butterflies. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Parks Volunteer (<parks...>)
