Weather: Winds variable out of the NE, E NND SE, temperature range 66 to 79 F, cloud cover 5 to 40%
Raptor Observations: Goshawk was within view for 5 minute but too high to determine plumage. Goshawk was judged by bird size, heavy body with head small for body size. Main determination was made by wing size, shape and position. During the 5 minutes the raptor did not flap its wings. Wings were flat, no upturned tips. ruling out Red Tailed Hawk and without dark underwing patches ruling out Red Shouldered Hawk.
Adult BE at 11:15
Non-raptor Observations: AMERICAN CROWS, ROCK DOVES, Pee wee, white and red breasted nuthatches, Nashville, Tennesee, Canada, Blk throated green warblers, wax wings ruby throated hummingbirds (2) coming to the feeder, and ravens(2)
