A busy day on the ridge featuring a good number of high flying
Broadwings. A good number of smaller kettles with most
birds being quite distant and almost out of the range of our optics.
(387) Broadwings passed the watch between the hours of 3PM & 5PM
We had some nice looks at Bald Eagles and our Sharpie numbers have
picked up a bit. Our Bird of the Day selection goes to the adult female
Harrier
that we picked up coming straight down ridge and this bird passed by
closely on the river side at eye level in some sweet light !

Non-raptor Observations:
Monarch- 11
RT Hummingbird- 2
RB Nuthatch- 2
Cedar Waxwings
Ravens-6
Chimney Swifts
Tree Swallows
