Rich Dark brown back and top of head. Thick brown streaks on light breast. Dramatic white eyebrow, wandering along shoreline under brush. bobbing regularly while walking, but a more deliberate, relatively slower, but 'bigger' bob than spotted sandpaper. Pinkish legs. At one point, it flew and called. Almost thought there were two. Merlin picked it up. Stayed around for about 60 minutes in and out of brush. Pix to follow"

- Comments: "Continuing: Observed this evening at Carpinteria Creek. Bird was foraging low along the muddy edges and shaded areas, frequently pumping its tail. Good prolonged views as it moved along the creek channel."
