- Comments: "I was heading toward the west end of the parking lot when I spotted a night heron on one of the boats that appeared darkish gray and stopped to get a better look. I noted the small white marks at the tips of the wing coverts and then the dark bill with a yellowish base and a yellow chin. The pale underparts were streaked with gray and the head was densely streaked with gray and white. The bird was first seen on the boat named 'Real Time' and had moved to the boat named 'Dragonfly' before I left. Both boats are at the western end of the State Park Marina near the Bayside Cafe.
