I hit the Pearls fen Greene county walk with Rick L. Absolutely super! I love
That spot. Least Fly, Phili Vireo, waxwings - I willed them on to Clinton county…..
Black and white warbler, Tennessee, Nashville, C. Yellowthroat, Redstart, cape May,
Bay breasted, Blackburnian, Chestnut sided, Wilson’s. Plus all the local breeders -
Migrants. A fun morning! Lots of warblers. Down low!
I hit warren county spots on my way home. It was quiet by then. I did have a
Calling GH Owl at spring valley. Yea! And the tern show at the Caesar creek marina
Was super! Black, common, and Forsters. What a nice study in structure in flight
With the Common and Forsters! Common was new for the year. Up to 158 for the
Big year. Shorebirds are non existent up here. No mud. And I am striking out at the
Caesar creek beach. I am not even getting any shorebirds in flight………..
Oh well! Good birding all.
