Subject: [MBBIRDS] Pelagic tomorrow - conditions even better now.
Hello all,

Just an update that conditions are better than when I last reported. Wind
and swell is lower, and this is important for trying to find murrelets. We
have a shot, it is by no means a prediction that they will be out there, but
these conditions do look good. Furthermore, in the last 4 days the water
temperatures have gone from 57F to 60-61F inside Monterey Bay, and satellite
data suggests it is even higher offshore and to the south. Again, these are
good conditions for southern murrelets, and some storm-petrels. No promises,
but from my perspective I am itching to get out there to see what we can
find.

We begin to check in at 7 am, leave by 7:30. Old Fisherman's Wharf,
Monterey:
