There are pelagic trips on both Saturday the 6th and Sunday the 7th on the "Legacy" whalewatch boat out of Seaforth Sportfishing. Both trips are full. Please arrive at the dock to first check in at the office between 6:00-6:15AM. We will have an introductory logistical talk at 6:30. There may be limited available parking in the lot directly in front of Seaforth, in which case you will need to park (free) on the street. Do not park in the lots to either side that belong to other establishments. The boat leaves PROMPTLY at 7AM.
As others have posted recently, there is a major freeway closure of the SOUTHBOUND I-5 all weekend long, from Highway 52 down to Mission Bay. Anyone coming south from the direction of North County will need to detour onto southbound I-805, to Highway 163 south down to I-8, and then west to Mission Bay. Please factor in some extra time for the detour.
