Hi all,
Right around 5pm, I got a look at the continuing Ruff after a group of shorebirds flew in joining stilts, dowitchers and yellowlegs near a flock of gulls. I couldn’t tell whether this bird flew in or walked out from behind a small island. The relatively small-headed short-billed bird was about the same size as surrounding Greater Yellowlegs. 3/4 of the way from the tracks to the dirt parking lot on Grand. Scope was needed.
Then I thought I’d try my luck (4th time!!) at Ulistac and finally found the (presumably continuing) Nashville Warbler right as I was exiting the park at 5:40. It was in a young oak on the south edge of the pathway into Ulistac (north entrance). From there it flew further south into the Eucalyptus where it had been seen earlier this morning. This one was a county bird for me!
