Subject: [Ohio-birds] Buff breasted - Lost bridge - Hamilton county
Wow! Another that I never thought I would see in Hamilton! David B. and
Michael M. are doing a big year in Hamilton. They are doing well! Finding stuff!
David said it was his 60th time at Lost Bridge. That’s what you have to do
For the rarities! Anyway, I chased. County bird! They waited for me there
And pointed the bird out. I would not have found it in the low light. 8:20 pm…..
I owe them drinks and or dinner for that!
I needed that. I love shorebirds. And am not getting any in Warren and Clinton….
Sigh.

But am enjoying exploring! Picked up Chestnut sided and bay breasted for
My lean warren big year. 156 for the year. Bad…….
202 for life. Chestnut sided was new.

Butterfly notes - my best skipper outing yet this year! The butterfly
Garden at miller ecological park. Tall verbena was the nectar of choice.

Good birding all.
