Subject: [sbcobirding] Clay-colored continues
The Clay-colored sparrow continues this morning at Elings Park. It has
managed to extricate itself from the big flock of lesser goldfinches and is
now more easily approached. When I left it, it was feeding in fennel east
of the stone bench. It spent a little time on the ground, but mostly it was
up halfway or towards the top of the fennel plants. Also new in today were
3 to 4 lazuli buntings and three chipping sparrows at the north end of the
restoration plot.
