- Comments: "Flew into the eastern-most tidal ponds, foraged for about three minutes and flew off again. --- Bigger than the near-by Least Sandpipers; conspicuous complete white eyering; two-tone straight bill, greenish at the base with a dark tip (terminal third of the bill); greenish-yellow legs; medium brown streaked breast; white belly and undertail; unmarked flanks; brown mantle with fine white spots.
Only other eBird report of this species at this eBird hotspot: 8/11/2018. --- Last report of this species in the vicinity: 5/4/2022 in the seasonal pond at the corral further down on Turri Road.

- Comments: "Continuing bird (KH and Herb 8.11.25) was a small, short-tailed warbler with slate-gray head, sharp-tipped bill with dark upper mandible and pale lower mandible, bold eye-arcs bisected by short, black eye-line, two short, bold white wing-bars on each side, blotchy rust-colored breast-ring, yellow lower breast and white belly and undertail. Observed here: (35°06'43.4"N 120°37'34.8"W)."
