Melissa Johnson reported a Yellow-breasted Chat at Bird Survey Station #2 at Ulistac Natural Area this morning, so I went there this afternoon. While I was photographing the birds on the snag just north of Station #2, by the sign that says "Four Feet Tall and Tough," the Chat showed up to the left of the snag. It was silent.
Do not disclose information that identifies the location of nesting birds of any species, to minimize stress on the nesting birds and the risk of vandalism or abuse.
