Just moments ago I entered the Guadalupe River trail north of Coleman Rd. I was looking for a singing Wilson's Warbler when a male NORTHERN RED BISHOP flew in.
It was seen at the start of the Guadalupe River trail that is open to the river. It was vocal. This is a few weeks later than the pair that was seen by many last August.
I parked at the VTA parking lot off Coleman and entered the Guadalupe River trail, turned left a few steps. seen here 37.244069, -121.872609
