I was looking for bumble bees in letcher today and the home owner says, look an owl. There in front yard was a very sick barn owl. It was covered in flies. It could walk but was not well. He said every morning there is an owl perched in trees after pigeons. Makes me wonder what owl hunts pigeons. Not a barn owl. Attached is a picture of it. I'm guessing poison but who knows.
