Subject: [cobirds] Historical bird data from pre-1850?

Hiya birders,

The Littleton Museum is looking for information about historical bird
numbers, for a new exhibit. We’re hoping to include an informational panel
about the changes to bird populations due to the westward expansion and
gold rush, after 1850.

If you can help with any of these questions, please let me know. I’d love
to chat with you.

· - What would the most common species in the Littleton area have
been before the 1850s?

· - What species would have been a common sight but are now
extremely uncommon, or the reverse?

Thank you!

Jen Small
