they now have 3 sundays to hunt, which is 1 for archery, 1 for bear and one for rifle of white tailed deer
there is a big push for more sundays but not sure it will pass as things stand now. I could see early sundays being added more than the later ones around rifle season but we shall see
we usually have our cbc in lewistown/juniata on the first avail saturday and always try to avoid it when the last day of hunting falls on the first avail sat of cbc.
I wish they would put the sunday hunting out for a vote of those who actually buy hunting licenses, I would say it will get voted down and probably removed of the 3 in place now, but not sure that will ever come to light either.
as when I post of the hunting seasons online at the social media sites, I think everyone who uses SGL and State forests should learn the game laws and get a license to help support things. you don't have to hunt, but it is a great way to contribute, imo.
then I turn off the comments so there is no fighting about it from the hunters and non hunters. I hunt, I bird, both are important and connected more than most think.
