Subject: [cobirds] Male Calliope,Littleton,Jefferson County
Finally One adult Male Calliope Hummingbird in my yard today,7/20. BUT there may be 2 adult males since one looked pretty different from the other. I need a better look at this one before I say for sure.
Hope Calliope and the other CO. 3, common species will be here here this Sunday for the DFO trip.

Last year I only had 3 ad m. Calliope in the yd stay for a short time.

It does not help when immature Great Horned Owls sit right above the hummer feeder.

Happy Birding,
Tina Jones, Littleton, Jefferson County,CO
