Just finishing up a pretty good week 35 of the listed 43 Hot Spots were visited. Those that were missed were in the mountains and over in Borrego Springs. This upcoming week there are 4 Hot Spots (red along with the number 1 after their name) that only need a checklist this week to have at least one checklist for each week of the year. In addition there are 10 Hot Spots that are down to only having 2 weeks left. So a checklist this week and the next time they come up they can be completed. These has a number 2 after their name.
A little longer list this week and for the next few weeks as these weeks in the past have not been birded as heavily as other weeks of the year. It might be easier to look at the map to find Hot Spots in your area.
