There are 3 ways to enter data into iNaturalist now- web app or two
different mobile apps (iNat Classic and iNat Next). No matter how you enter
data during the moth blitz, if you are in Vermont and it is at least Ided
to one of the most families, then it will automatically be in the blitz
project. Joining the project makes sure you get notifications of news and
such from the project, shows support, and more...but technically is not
necessary. WIth web app and iNat Classic mobile, a user can select a
project for it to be added to it-this is only important for traditional
projects. Confused? Don't worry about it. Join the moth project so you are
a member and add your moth data to iNaturalist and you are done.
Thanks!
Kent
