7/11 - 9- 10. A dozen short-billed dowitchers I. Boulder Pond. Clapper rail and several salt-marsh sparrows along Willard Causeway. As Friends of Hammo, we don't see why there can't be some minimal phrag. trimming to keep open natural viewing spots along these and other wetlands areas in the park. I hope others will join us in communicating with park staff.Tom and Fran Holloway, Madison
