Hmm, I think I have you both beat with Frozen Toe Rd... lol. along
with my own Moggey Rd (old farmer), Old Maid Rd and Curtinbottom Rd. I'd
say maybe 1 in 3 or 4 point counts are on no winter maintenance roads !
Lately they all have a little creek running right down the middle of the
road... But like Deb said, often some great little finds back there. The
other day I pulled up one and decided it was too risky, when I went to back
up a gas tanker truck had pulled in behind me. I went back to tell him I
was going to back up and turn around, but when he didn't look like he was
moving I asked how the rest of the road was. He looked at me and said,
well, pretty much what you see.. it's passable. But of course he's in a big
truck. I went back to the car and carefully proceeded up the gully. At the
top of the hill there was a pull off thankfully, and when he pulled up
beside me to continue on, he leaned out his window and said to me, now be
careful and don't try to go down Frozen Toe !! I laughed and said, no
worries, I already did that one the other day. Always an adventure !
