Just a reminder that I would greatly appreciate your reporting Swallow-tailed Kite sightings to inform Orleans Audubon Society's nest monitoring program. You can send reports directly to me or enter details into eBird. (My cell: 504-717-3544 or this email address)
If anyone is heading to Grand Isle this weekend, please keep an eye out for Swallow-tailed Kites along the route, including near the water tower on LA-3235 in Larose, north west of Parkridge Lane. I just had a report from there from a reliable source.
