Super cool on two Oystercatcher-lets. Thanks for sharing that happy news Liam! If the barge is indeed where they were hatched, glad it stayed in place long enough for that to happen. They can be very good at hiding despite their size.
So that's a second pair incubating on the Aqua Vista tern pier. Seems a little late in the season for that behavior. Perhaps a second try or maybe they are young parents. Noreen witnessed a nest exchange there yesterday.
Another historic nesting location for BLOY on the southern waterfront has been on Double-rock - located at the southeast yawn of Yosemite Slough. Haven't been there in months but be good to keep an eye out just in case.
