Unfortunately I had to leave, nobody has seen the stint yet but others are still looking. The tide is rising though so afternoon may be best.
Earlier this morning,several of us saw what appeared to be a candidate for a semipalmated sandpiper. Upon reviewing my photos, the SESA candidate probably is one, but I’ll see what the real photos do. Several expert opinions favor SESA over a weird western. Also present are 4 red knots, a simmering lesser Scaup, and a red breasted merganser.
