Weather: Quite warm with strong SW winds. Mostly cloudy but birds got up in the sunny or bright spots. The wind got too strong in the last 20 minutes and birds stayed down.
Raptor Observations: Even the Bald Eagles flapped against the wind so the Broad-wings really had to work. One young Broad-wing was nearly finished molting with mostly adult feathers.
Non-raptor Observations: Cedar Waxwings, like the raptors, were still moving with four groups totalling. 24.
Predictions: Cooler west winds. Saturday has near perfect SW winds so a few eagles will likely be moving. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Mike Tetlow (<metetlow...>) Braddock Bay information may be found at: http://www.bbrr.org/
