Birders,
My friend Karly Moore sent me a photo of a Crested Caracara taken approximately 0645 this morning while working on the very north end of Camp Pendleton, about 2.5 miles south of the county line. The area of the sighting is not open to the public, but she said the bird was flying in the direction of I-5 and Trestles Beach should anybody want to cruise up and down the freeway to see if it's still hanging around.
