This morning while I was on Mt. Davidson looking for (but not finding) the Rose-breasted Grosbeaks reported earlier by Keith Maley, I spotted something white flying nearby. Bigger than a butterfly, it landed on a bush and turned out to be a beautiful white hummingbird, which I believe was completely white except for a yellow-orange bill (I didn't note the eye color). Very poor iPhone photo attached. It flew off as I approached, around (37.73888, -122.45310). Later I saw it again, I'm pretty sure, flying near (37.73793, -122.45337). Because the bill was light-colored, I believe it must be albino rather than leucistic, and apparently not the same bird as was seen last summer on Mt. Davidson (photo from Dominik of last year's bird: https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/621577322 ). I don't know whether it's an Anna's or Allen's.
