Hi, I birded here from 9:45-11:45. For some reason, Mourning Warbler wasn't on my radar. I heard the singing initially while I was up top. I found it a bit later from the dirt path opposite the bard of the maroon house that backs up onto the path. I then lost it for a while. I went back up top, and heard the bird singing briefly. I went down that unofficial path that runs along that black, chain link fence, and there was the bird below eye-level! This locale is close to the initial one. Opposite the yard of the maroon house, and half-way up the slope. Unfortunately, the bird was singing very infrequently. With this species, I think it is easier to see it if you are looking down at it from above. Good luck! P.S., on Saturday night, at 8:00, I saw a pair of GREAT EGRETS fly over Stop and Shop in Brigham Circle. I believe the strong easterly winds had something to do with it.
