Subject: [sd-birds] Spring Birding - Aberdeen
I haven't done any "serious" birding this spring, but my yard and neighborhood were awash with spring migrants. Most notable were two Tennessee Warblers singing back and forth to each other last weekend. Pretty cool little birds! I'm sure they've passed through before, but I just didn't notice.

I also saw a few yellow warblers, yellow-rumped warblers and a brown thrasher that I saw three times in one day!

I'm sure there are others, but those are the ones I could remember.

Is it just me, or did the migrants stay longer than usual this year?
