Subject: [CT Birds] Spectacle Brook Swamp in Wilton
Another spin around the trails encircling the swamp, just southwest of
Woodcock Nature Center in Wilton, netted 38 species.

The Mourning Warbler couldn't be relocated, nor could the Alder Flycatcher.

A laggard White-throated Sparrow was hanging out at the edge of the swamp.
The only other unusual bird today was Blue-winged Warbler, who was calling
right above this industrious muskrat:
