REMINDER- There are two great (free) events happening this coming Saturday (May 31st).
First- We have a UCB field trip that will bird Provo Canyon, over the Alpine Loop and down American Fork Canyon. This is going to be a great field trip that covers a wide variety of habitats!
Meet at 7 AM at the Palisade Park Park-and-Ride in Orem near the mouth of Provo Canyon. We will see what we can find as we make a loop starting with a drive up Provo Canyon, then up the Alpine Loop, down American Fork Canyon, and back around the front of Timpanogos to end up back at the mouth of Provo Canyon. Bring an Interagency Park Pass if you have one, or plan to pay a $10 per vehicle fee-for a 3-day pass.
Second- When you’re done with the field trip come visit our UCB table at the free Utah Lake Festival at the Utah Lake State Park in Provo 10-4:30 on Saturday! We will have stickers to give away, bird jokes to tell, and we will be keeping a state park day bird list. In addition to that there will be free fishing for kids, sailboat rides, paddleboard jousting, food trucks, face painting, and so much more! Bring your family out and come see us and say hi!
