Subject: Nesting Birds
Five different species of birds have been nesting in my Hot Springs yard
and my neighbors property and the greatest distance between any two nests
is fifty yards. Only 40 feet separates four of the nests. Only two are in
nesting boxes. They include; a cardinal, a mockingbird, a finch, a
titmouse and a chickadee. If you count a cowbird that has invaded the
chickadee's nest, there are five species in close proximity.

How unusual is that?
