By special request, we will return to Vischer Ferry on Thursday morning to look for the Least Bittern. Reports indicate that both Least and American Bittern are being reliably heard and occasionally seen in the pools near the Whipple Bridge. Let's meet at 7 am at the Whipple Bridge. If can get the bitterns quickly, we can saddle up and relocate to Chute's Drydock (east end of Visher Ferry) and walk the eastern towpath (we rarely do that).
