Subject: [Ohio-birds] Tricolored - success!
Every now and then I do get that chase urge! This was at the limit of my driving
For a day, 2 hours one way from Oakley, Cincinnati. No way an early start, I was
On a great parks of Hamilton county night hike with Sean. Excellent! Anyway,
The only reason I went up was because of the timing. The bird disappears in
The early afternoon, but comes back in the 2:30 range. Sure enough! I had missed
The bird by 15 minutes when I first got there…….. of course…… so I explored.
The woods areas. Nice spot! No migrants. I was listening! Needed caffeine. Took
A break, came back at 2:30, and the target cooperated! It flew back in around
2:45 or 2:50 or so. Thanks all! That was a great team effort!

Odes notes - not many…. It was coolish up there. I keep sweatshirts in my trunk.
I broke one out….

Good birding all.
