Indigo Bunting (Passerina cyanea) (1) CONFIRMED
- Reported May 28, 2025 08:23 by Jake Hager
- Harmony Headlands State Park, San Luis Obispo, California

- Comments: "Continuing a few days now—perched and singing on a utility line, north side of the trail a couple posts before the ranch house. Near identical song to a lazuli but clearly overall dark blue color despite poor overcast light. A nearby perched blue grosbeak provided a nice comparison—similar color birds; the bunting was smaller with a slenderer bill. Didn’t seem to want to leave its wire perch for a better look while I was there. Lousy pic."

Indigo Bunting (Passerina cyanea) (1) CONFIRMED
- Reported May 27, 2025 07:28 by Herb Elliott
- Harmony Headlands State Park, San Luis Obispo, California
- Map: http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&t=p&z=13&<q...>,-121.0018122&<ll...>,-121.0018122 - Checklist: https://ebird.org/checklist/S243907049 - Media: 4 Photos, 1 Audio
- Comments: "continuing bird found yesterday morning by Reef Comer. Apparent second year male based on blotchy blue and white lower belly and white undertail coverts. At distance the upper parts appeared all blue, though I never had a good view of the bird's back or wings because it always faced our location while in view. The bill was silver colored and the lores on this bird appeared dark/black. Three or four times the bird sat on the utility wire between the third and fifth utility poles from the parking lot, sang, perch for a short time, and then drop down out of site over the low ridge north of us. It once flew down to the brush south of the main access road where we had brief but closer views. It apparently moved from the parking area to near the small ranch house. Photo and audio."
