Highlights
Ovenbird-my puppy was walking ahead of me I always look around to see what she flushes Suddenly an OVEN pops out of its nest The bird is watching my puppy Then she disappears as my puppy passes As my puppy returns the bird pops up again watching my puppy When my puppy approaches me the OVEN sees me and goes into the nest Slowly the OVEN raises its head to see me Then the bird disappears again No wonder these birds are so hard to see
While walking a trail suddenly I am surrounded by at least 8 Warblers and other songbirds They are foraging all around me This lasted a few minutes then they moved on
Woodcock-on edge of road Pumping its body as it slowly moves forward It moves into the grass while still pumping its body The Woodcock then lies down and stares forward He must see a female
