Subject: [Ohio-birds] Least tern - butler county
I had checked the Armleder bean field pond today. We figured the Hudwits
Had gone. That’s just the way it works. But this is the type of spot that needs
Checking daily. Nothing new. In fact a lot less shorebirds. No Whimbrels! Nice
Swallow show though.

After chores and errands, I was going to hit lost bridge for a look at the spot.
Did I get there?? No….. Connor found a Least Tern at Brate rd. Pond in Butler.
So off I went! Success! And more swallows…..

I don't think I will get back up to Clinton and Warren til June. I am back to NJ
soon for my annual trek back. June will be breeders! I am excited!

Good birding all. Still no Cicadas in my yard.
