I flew to Washington State last week to visit friends in Walla Walla, WA where I lived for 24 years and then to Ontario Oregon to visit family to include my mother who turned 84 on the 13th. I met for the first time my great niece Serena (The Princess of Everyplace) who is the granddaughter of my sister. It was so good for my soul to see my friends and family and to be loved on by them. My 3 great nephews were all hugs as you can see. Can't get enough of that! Sorry for a bit of diversion from the birds but life happens. God bless my niece Mariah and her husband Gerald as they raise those 4 rascals. Bummer that young Emrys was sad at the moment of this family photo.
When I lived in Walla Walla I spent a lot of time along the North Coppei Road and even more up on Robinette Mountain which is east of Walla Walla and south of Dayton in the Blue Mountains of SE WA State. I added Dusky Flycatcher to my life list on Robinette Mountain last week.
