Weather: Mostly sunny, temps reached a high of 54F. Winds started from the north, then switched to east. In the afternoon I was seeing some vultures inland, so I moved to Frisbee Hill.
Raptor Observations: Today was a beautiful day on the platform, despite the chilly wind coming in off the lake. There were only a few birds on the move given the NE wins. The day totals are 14 Turkey Vultures, 3 Broad-winged Hawks, and 1 Red-tailed Hawk.
Non-raptor Observations: A striking Eastern Meadowlark landed in the freshly cut lawn directly in front of the platform.
Predictions: Tomorrow will have rain showers in the morning that will evolve into a more steady rain in the afternoon. High around 55F. Winds ESE at 10 to 20 mph. Given the rain forecast, there will probably be very few, if no birds moving. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Maili Waters (<mailirwaters...>) Braddock Bay information may be found at: http://www.bbrr.org/
