Subject: [VTBIRD] Canada Warbler
While it has been particularly hard to actually SEE warblers this season, I
was excited to see a Canada Warbler in my yard, but, sadly, because it hit
a window. Luckly, it flew off. Spurred by its presence here, I went out
thinking there may be other migrants.. and LO! I actually SAW a
Bay-breasted Warber, rare in my yard too. Ruth

stunned. i was successful in picking it up out of the cold and rain and
held it in my hand for 5 min. When I went to release the bird from my
garage entrance door, it flew back in and ended up on a rafter - and
probably warmer and drier for a while. I wish this guy well; it left the
garage.
