Weather:
Sunny becoming partly cloudy; 64-76 degrees; good visibility;
winds out mostly out of the WNW becoming stronger over the course
of the count 6-21 mph gusting to 29 mph

Raptor Observations:
Seven species, good this late in the season, with one our fifth
Mississippi Kite. This one arrived at 3:37 clock time and was in
view for 4 minutes, wheeling and whirling and dipping while
hunting for insects. Probable subadult male with whitish head,
small areas of white secondaries, and bands on tail. Late American
Kestrel.

Non-raptor Observations:
Magnolia Warbler, Blackburnian Warbler, Blackpoll Warbler

Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake
Bay at the
mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are
from the southwest.
