Scott Stoner, Denise Hackert-Stoner, Cathy Graichen and I did a full day around central Saratoga County on Saturday. We managed to avoid almost all the heavy rainstorms during the day and ended up with 111 species. Highlights included a fly-over common nighthawk at Shenantaha Creek Park, several common gallinules at Round Lake Preserve, a fortuitous wilson's warbler at Zim Smith near English Rd (thanks to Lindsay D) and vesper sparrow at Saratoga County airport, despite the ongoing construction.
