I was pleased to hear our resident Marsh Wren return to Morris Creek Preserve off Meadow View Road two nights ago (for the fourth year). These birds are like perpetual, gentle alarm clocks that go off every seven seconds for long stretches in the still of the late night. A pleasant contrast to the 737s.
