This morning there were at least three Vaux’s Swifts over the 9th hole pond of the golf course at Arthur Pack. This year I have more swift sightings than all my previous years combined. Past years I felt lucky to get two or three. This year I’ve had nine observations.
Another amazement: Lazuli Buntings continue as well, with twelve sightings to date, with numbers into the 40’s once, 17 today.
An immature Double-crested Cormorant, a continuing hen Lesser Scaup (Injured?) and Virginia Rails keeps me busy with the ("Are you sure” ebird algorithm. Having photos always helps.
Also still seeing White-crowned Sparrows, all dark lored birds, and a few Brewer’s Sparrows.
